A questo proposito, gli studi disponibili sono concordi nell\u2019affermare che i prodotti di origine animale sono quelli a maggior impatto ambientale. La dieta Mediterranea, invece, \u00e8 caratterizzata da un largo consumo di prodotti di origine vegetale, motivo per cui le vengono attribuite sia propriet\u00e0 salutistiche che effetti positivi sull\u2019ambiente. Dai risultati \u00e8 emerso che <strong>all\u2019aumentare dell\u2019aderenza alla dieta Mediterranea aumentava anche la loro consapevolezza<\/strong> sull\u2019impronta ecologica in termini di consumo di cibo, utilizzo di energia e acqua, e produzione di rifiuti.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Alla luce di questi dati, gli autori dello studio sottolineano l\u2019importanza di attuare strategie per aumentare la consapevolezza dei consumatori sul forte impatto che la nutrizione ha nei confronti dell\u2019ambiente.
